    • New Bus Route 51

      March 8, 2017
    • In the last couple months, you may have noticed the new bus stop signs through the neighborhood. The City of Lincoln extended route 51 to include our area.

The city conducted a study to increase the number of riders in Lincoln, while comparing Lincoln to other cities of similar size. They determined expanding bus routes with new stops would help them grow the number of riders.

The closest bus stop used to be at SW 27th and W South streets. Now, there are 3 new stops to take riders downtown. The new stops are located at:
Timber Ridge Road & Timber Ridge Circle
      W Garfield & SW 36th Street
      SW 36th & W A Street

Hourly pickups at W Garfield & SW 36th Street begin at 6:45 each weekday morning and the last stop is at 6:45 each evening.
On Saturday, pickups are every two hours at W Garfield & SW 36th Street beginning at 8:15am and the last stop is at 6:15pm.
